Hang Hau Sports Centre

Introduction

Hang Hau Sports Centre, which was commissioned on 29 December 2011, is located at 1-3/F, Sai Kung Tseung Kwan O Government Complex, 38 Pui Shing Road, Tseung Kwan O. Well equipped with air-conditioning system, it provides a wide range of leisure facilities and offers an ideal venue for leisure activities. Moreover, various sports and recreation programmes are held in the Sports Centre each month for public participation.

Facilities

  • 1 multi-purpose arena which can be converted into 8 badminton courts, 2 basketball courts or 2 volleyball courts.
  • 3 multi-purpose activity rooms covering areas of about 95 m2, 117 m2 and 200 m2 where activities such as dance or yoga can be held(Ancillary facilities: Wall mirrors, dance bars, gymnastic mats and sound equipment.).
  • 1 table-tennis room with 5 table-tennis tables.
  • 1 fitness room of 332 M2.
  • 1 children’s play room.
  • An indoor jogging track with approx. 150m in length.
  • Men's and ladies' changing rooms and toilets
  • Barrier Free Facilities: Accessible Toilet, Accessible Lift (with Assistive Listening System), Tactile Guide Path, Visual Fire Alarm System, Assistive Listening System.

Hong Kong Velodrome

Introduction

The Hong Kong Velodrome, located at 105-107 Po Hong Road, Tseung Kwan O, is the first-ever local indoor cycling facility that meets the standards of the International Cycling Union (Union Cycliste Internationale, UCI). In addition to providing a wide range of leisure facilities for hiring by individuals and groups, the Velodrome offers members of the public with a variety of recreation and sports programmes every month.

  • A 250-metre wooden cycling track that meets international standards.
  • 1 multi-purpose arena which can be converted into 8 badminton courts, 2 basketball courts or 2 volleyball courts.
  • 1 spectator stand with 2 000 permanent seats and 1 000 retractable seats.
  • 2 table tennis rooms with 6 table tennis tables in total.
  • 1 dance room of about 120 M2(Ancillary facilities: Wall mirrors, dance bars, gymnastic mats and sound equipment.).
  • 1 fitness room of 326 M2.
  • 1 children's play room of about 286 M2.
  • 2 activity rooms of about 70 M2 each and 1 activity room of about 130 M2(Ancillary facilities: Sound equipment and gymnastic mats.).
  • Men's and ladies' changing rooms and toilets.
  • Barrier Free Facilities: Accessible Toilet, Accessible Lift (with Assistive Listening System), Tactile Guide Path, Visual Fire Alarm System, Braille Directory Map/Floor Plan, Assistive Listening System.

  • 3 squash courts which can be converted into activity rooms or table-tennis rooms(Ancillary facilities: Sound equipment and gymnastic mats.).
  • 1 fitness room of 108 M2.

Introduction

Sai Kung Squash Courts, which was commissioned on 1 November 1991, is located at Wai Man Road, Sai Kung. The Squash Courts provides 2 squash courts, which can be converted into 2 table-tennis rooms, and a spectator stand with 180 seats. Individuals and organisations are welcome to hire the facilities.

Tiu Keng Leng Sports Centre

Introduction

Tiu Keng Leng Sports Centre, located at 2 Chui Ling Road, Tseung Kwan O, was opened to the public on 23 April 2015. The wide range of leisure facilities provided in the sports centre are available for hire by individuals and organisations. A variety of sports and recreation programmes are also offered every month for public participation.




Facilities

  • 1 multi-purpose arena which can be converted into 8 badminton courts, 2 basketball courts or 2 volleyball courts.
  • 6 multi-purpose rooms (including 2 rooms with 3 table-tennis tables in total, 2 small activity rooms each with an area of about 95 m2, and 2 large activity rooms with areas of about 215 m2 and 230 m2 respectively for activities like dancing and yoga) (Ancillary facilities: Wall mirrors, dance bars, gymnastic mats and sound equipment.).
  • 1 outdoor sport climbing wall with 3 lanes of different levels of difficulty and 2 lanes for speed training (users are required to possess the qualifications recognised by the relevant National Sports Association).
  • 1 children’s playroom.
  • An indoor jogging track of about 150 m in length.
  • 1 fitness room of 285 M2.
  • Men's and ladies' changing rooms and toilets .
  • Barrier Free Facilities: Accessible Toilet, Accessible Lift (with Assistive Listening System), Tactile Guide Path, Visual Fire Alarm System, Assistive Listening System and Braille Directory Map/Floor Plan.
  • A two-tiered district open space of one hectare in size, which provides an array of facilities, including a landscaped garden, a lawn, an elderly fitness corner, fitness stations and a children’s playground.
  • 1 fee-charging car park with parking spaces for 13 private cars and 9 motorcycles (including 1 accessible parking space).
